Shilapravang Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Shree Dhootapapeshwar Limited, Mumbai, India. It is used in the treatment of ED, Urinary tract disorders etc. 

Uses and effect on dosha

Shilapravang Tablet uses: It is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes, urinary tract disorders, difficulty in urination, urinary retention,  Premature ejaculation, Male infertility due to physiological causes, weakness, fatigue, complications of diabetes like burning sensation of hands & feet, debility & benign prostatitis.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and kapha.

Dose and duration of use

Shilapravang Tablet Dose: 1 to 2 tablets twice a day with milk or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

How long to take? It can be taken for upto 1 -2 months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Shilapravang Tablet Ingredients:
Each tablet contains –
Shuddha Shilajit – Asphaltum punjabinum – 30 mg,
Pravala Pishti – Powder of Coral – 30 mg,
Vanga Bhasma – Calx of Tin – 30 mg,
Mouktik Pishti – Powder of Pearl – 1 mg,
Suvarnamakshik Bhasma – Makshika Bhasma – Bhasma of Copper-Iron Pyrite – 20 mg,
Bhimseni Karpoor 20 mg,
Vanshalochan – Bambusa bambos – 20 mg,
Elaichi – Cardamom – 10 mg,
Guduchi Satva – Aqueous extract of Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia 50 mg, Gokshura – Small caltrops (whole plant) – Tribulus terrestris Linn. – 50 mg

Side effects and shelf life

Side effect: 
Swarna Makshika, an ingredient of this medicine contains copper in a very minute quantity. Hence this medicine should only be taken under strict medical supervision.
Children, Pregnant and lactating mothers should take this product only under medical supervision.
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Over-dosage or taking medicine for a longer period of time, than prescribed may lead to side effects like tremors and such other neurological symptoms.
Store in a cool dry place.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.

Expiry date:  5 years from the date of manufacture.
