Sheetaprabha Tablet – Benefits, Dosage, Side Effects, Ingredients

Sheetaprabha Tablet  is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Shree Dhootapapeshwar Limited, Mumbai, India. It is used in the treatment of urinary calculi, urinary retention etc. 

Uses and effect on dosha

Sheetaprabha Tablet uses: It is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of urinary retention, difficulty in urination, urinary calculi, Blood with urination (Haematuria), Burning & difficulty in micturition due to acidic urine.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Pitta.

Dose and duration of use

Sheetaprabha Tablet Dose: 1 to 2 tablets 2-3 times a day with PunarnavasavaUsheerasavaChandanasava or water, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

How long to take? It can be taken for upto 1 month, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Shweta Parpati 125 mg,
Hajarul Yahood Bhasma 125 mg, (Badarashma Bhasma)

Side effects and shelf life

Side effect: 
Children, Pregnant and lactating mothers should take this product only under medical supervision.
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Overdosage may cause dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
Store in a cool dry place.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time.

Expiry date:  5 years from the date of manufacture.
