Rhumayog Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Zandu Realty Limited. It is used in the treatment of cervical spondylosis, rheumatoid arthritis.
Rhumayog Tablet Ingredients
Abhrak bhasma – Biotite Calx – It is used as rejuvenating agent to treat brain and neuro-psychiatric disorders, bifrontal atrophy, trigeminal neuralgia, neuropathy.
Bang bhasma – Tin Calx – 5 mg
Loha bhasma – Calx of Iron – 5 mg – It improves strength, immunity and nourishment.
Makshik bhasma – Pyrite Calx – 5 mg
Mandur bhasma – Calx of iron rust – 5 mg – It is used in treatment of Anemia, Jaundice, anorexia, inflammatory conditions, injuries. It improves strength and immunity.
Nag bhasma – Lead Calx – 5 mg – It is used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
Rasa sindur – Mercury Sulphide – 5 mg – It is used to boost immune system, to improve strength, in cardiac diseases, colicky abdominal pain, urinary tract related diseases, fistula in ano, inflammatory conditions.
Yograj guggulu – Ayurvedic medicine – 30 mg – It is widely used in the Ayurvedic treatment for various types of arthritis.
Maha rasnadi Quath – Ayurvedic medicine – 235 mg (solid extract) – It is used in Vata disorders like Kampavata (Parkinson’s disease), hemiplegia, paraplegia, neck pain, low back pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteo arthritis.
Indication
Rheumatoid arthritis
Slip disc pain
Spondylosis,
Back pain, stiffness, neck pain, joint pains associated with stiffness
Bursitis,
Bursitis trochanterica,
Shoulder dislocation pain
Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains
Dosage
2 tablets twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
