Rhumayog with Gold Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Zandu Realty Limited. It is used in the treatment of rapidly progressive rheumatoid arthritis especially where the disease is severe & involving multiple joints.
Rhumayog Gold Tablet Ingredients
Vanga bhasma – Calx of Tin – 5 mg
Naga bhasma – Lead Calx – 5 mg – It balances Vata, Pitta and Kapha and useful in rheumatoid arthritis.
Lauha bhasma – Iron Calx – 5 mg – It improves strength, immunity, skin texture, complexion, memory, intelligence, digestive power and acts as natural aphrodisiac.
Makshika bhasma – Pyrite Calx – 5 mg
Mandura bhasma – Iron oxide – 5 mg – It is used in treatment of Anemia, Jaundice, anorexia, inflammatory conditions, injuries. It improves strength and immunity.
Abhraka bhasma – Mica Calx – 5 mg – It is used as rejuvenating agent to treat brain and neuro-psychiatric disorders, bifrontal atrophy, trigeminal neuralgia, neuropathy.
Rasa sindura – Ayurvedic medicine – 5 mg – It is used to boost immune system, to improve strength, in cardiac diseases, colicky abdominal pain, urinary tract related diseases, fistula in ano, inflammatory conditions.
Yogaraja guggulu – Ayurvedic medicine – 30 mg – It is widely used in the Ayurvedic treatment for various types of arthritis.
Maha Rasnadi Kwath – (solid extract) – 235 mg – It pacifies inflammation and irritation of nerves. It has analgesic, anti-arthritic and anti-rheumatic properties.
Suvarna bhasma – Calx of Gold – 1 mg – Balances Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Indications
Rapidly progressive rheumatoid arthritis especially where the disease is severe & involving multiple joints
Bursitis,
Bursitis trochanterica,
Shoulder dislocation pain
Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains
Dosage
Loading therapy: 2 tablets twice daily for 15 days.
Maintenance therapy: 1 tablet twice daily at weekly intervals.
It is suggested that after initial treatment with Rhumayog with Gold, long term treatment should be followed up with Zandu Rhumayog tablets.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Rhumayog with Gold Tablet Presentation: 30 tablets
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
