Acidinol Tablet – Benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Acidinol tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Ban Labs Ltd., Rajkot, Gujarat It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of acidity, gastritis etc. Proprietary means, the formula of the product is formulated by the company and is not mentioned in any traditional Ayurvedic text books. 

Uses

Acidinol uses: It is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of  Hyperacidity, Dyspepsia, sour belching, Gastritis, Flatulence.

Dose and duration of use

Dosage: 2 tablets three times in a day.

How long to take? 

It can be taken for upto one to two months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each tablet contains in
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn. 20 mg
Yashtimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 10 mg
Pippalimoola – Long pepper root – Piper longum – 20 mg
Avipttikar Churna – an Ayurvedic medicine in powder form – 70 mg-  a well known medicine for bloating.
Siddhamrut Ras – an Ayurvedic medicine in powder form – 40 mg
Praval Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Coral – 20 mg – well known medicine for acidity.
Sukti Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Pearl Oyster – 20 mg
Kamdudha Ras – an Ayurvedic medicine – 10 mg
Yashada Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Zinc metal– 10 mg

Side effects and package

Side effects and precautions: There are no known side effects of this medicine, However, it is advised to take this medicine only under medical supervision.

Children and pregnant ladies should take this medicine, only under expert guidance.

Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in a dry cool place.

Presentation: 100 tablets.
