Tribangshila Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Zandu Pharmaceuticals Work Ltd. It is used in the treatment of Diabetes mellitus and its complications.
Tribangshila Tablet Ingredients
Each tablet contain in mg of
Nimba – Neem – Melia azadirachta – 80 mg – It helps to lower the blood glucose levels, it also helps to heal wounds quickly and relieves skin diseases such as diabetic carbuncles.
Gudmar – Gymnema sylvestre – 80 mg – It is used totally all over India for controlling blood sugar. Several bio-active compounds have been isolated from the herb for diabetes care.
Shilajit – Bitumen – It has anti-diabetic, rejuvenative, anti-obesity and anti-hyperlipidemic properties.
Mamejawa Extract – Enicosterna littorale – 40 mg
Jambu – Jamoon – Eugenia jambolana – 40 mg – It is especially beneficial in controlling blood sugar levels in diabetics.
Yashada Bhasma – Zinc Calx – It is used in the treatment of eye disorders, anemia, diabetes, cough, cold, bronchitis, asthma, night sweating, non healing wounds, menorrhagia, tremors.
Vanga Bhasma – Tin Calx – Excellent in all urinary disorders and is good in gonorrhoea, strained micturition and diabetes, and develops virility and strength.
Indications
Diabetes mellitus and its complications.
Dosage
Adults: 2 – 4 tablets twice a day before meals with water.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
