Musli Pak: Benefits, Ingredients, Dose, Side effects

Musli Pak is an Ayurvedic medicine famous for its aphrodisiac benefits and is useful in the treatment of male infertility, leucorrhoea, weakness etc.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Musli Pak:
Safed Musli – Asparagus adscendens – It is a plant mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, lack of libido and to improve the body stamina. 
Trikatu – Long pepper (Piper longum), Black pepper (Piper nigrum), Ginger (Zingiber officinale).
Greater cardamom – Badi Ela – Amomum subulatum – It has anti oxidant activity.
Cinnamon – Dalchini – Cinnamomum zeylanica – It improves digestion strength, is useful in diabetes, high cholesterol etc.
Tejpatra – Cinnamomum tamala
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – It helps mother to lactate more, useful in treating male and female infertility, induces sleep, calms mind and stomach.
Chitrak mool – Plumbago zeylanica – Of all the herbs that are carminative, digestive, useful in hemorrhoids, anti inflammatory, and anti colic, leadwort is the best.
Tribulus – Gokhru – Tribulus terrestris – It is used for body building, to relieve diseases of uro-genital system and as an aphrodisiac. 
Indian ginseng – Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – It improves sexual performance, useful in premature ejaculation and in some cases of erectile dysfunction.
Chebulic myrobalan – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – It is a very famous rejuvenating herb.
Clove – Laung – Syzygium aromaticum
Nutmeg – Jaiphal – Myristica fragrans – Aphrodisiac, improves vigor.
Javitri – Myristica fragrans
Talmakhana – Asteracantha longifolia – It is a plant mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of general debility, jaundice, distention of abdomen, swelling, difficulty in urination and impotency. 
Khareti Beej – Bala – Sida cordifolia – Natural aphrodisiac, improves strength and immunity.
Kaunch Beej – Kapikacchu – Mucuna pruriens – It is widely used in treating sexual and neurological disorders.
Semal gond – Shalmali – Salmalia malabarica – Aphrodisiac.
Kamal gatta – Lotus seed – Nelumbo nucifera – Nutritious.
Bamboo – Vamsha – Bambusa arundinacea – It is a plant mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of cough, skin diseases, wounds, digestive disorders, nausea, gynecological disorders and fever. 
Akarkara – Anacyclus pyrethrum – It has anti oxidant activity.
Chopachini – Smilax glabra – It is a plant mentioned for the treatment of cancer, syphilis, skin diseases, constipation, urine retention, disease of joint etc.
Makardhwaj – It is an Ayurvedic medicine used in Ayurvedic anti aging and aphrodisiac treatment. 
Tin Calx – Vang Bhasma – It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of obesity, premature ejaculation, anemia, asthma etc.

Indications of Musli Pak:
Muscle Weakness and Fatigue
Emaciation
Sexual weakness, Loss of libido
Leucorrhoea
Erectile Dysfunction, Premature Ejaculation, Oligospermia
Infertility

Dose

Dosage of Moosli Pak:
1 to 2 teaspoonful with milk or water twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

Side effects, shelf life

Side effects of Musali Pak:  
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Shelf life:
2 years from the manufacturing date.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?

Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
