Madhu Mandoor Bhasma: Benefits, Ingredients, Dose, Side effects

Madhu Mandoor Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine useful in the treatment of anaemia, jaundice, liver disorders and in general debility.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Madhu Mandoor Bhasma:
Mandoor – Purified Iron Oxide
Triphala quath – It is an Ayurvedic medicine in water decoction form, used in the treatment of eye disorders, oral ulcers, liver diseases etc.
Gomutra – Cow urine – Acts as a natural detoxification formula. Useful in obesity, anemia.
Aloe Vera juice – Ghrit Kumari Ras – Aloe barbadensis – Useful in fever, spleen disorders, splenomegaly, hepatitis, hepatomegaly etc.
Panchamrita –
Tribulus – Gokhuru – Tribulus terrestris – It has anti inflammatory activity.
Giloy – Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – It is a famous Ayurvedic herb, used extensively in treatment for fever, diabetes, urinary tract disorders, anemia, jaundice, asthma, cardiac disorders etc.
Musali – Asparagus adscendens – It improves body stamina.
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – It improves nourishment.
Mundi – Sphaeranthus indicus – It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of pain, localized swelling, indigestion, headache, cough, elephantiasis, goiter, skin diseases and to improve the sexual vigor.

Anaemia
Jaundice
Liver disorders
General debility
Sprue
Diarrhea
Dysentery

Dose, duration of use

Dosage of Madhu Mandur Bhasma:
250 mg to 500 mg with honey twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

Side effects, shelf life

Side effects of Madhu Mandoor Bhasma:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for it’s usage during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.

10 years from the date of manufacturing date.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?

Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
