Patanjali Divya Kanti Lep: Uses, Ingredients, Usage, Side effects

Patanjali Divya Kanti Lep is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Patanjali Ayurved Limited. It is useful in pimples, black spots, hyper-pigmentation and other skin problems.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Patanjali Divya Kanti Lep:
Mehandi – Henna – Lawsonia inermis – It is an Ayurvedic herb used for the treatment of fever, dysuria, jaundice, ulcers, bleeding disorders and skin diseases. 
Amba haldi – Mango Ginger – Curcuma amada – It is an Ayurvedic spice used for the treatment of joint pain, itching in the skin, indigestion, cough and wounds. 
Manjishta – Indian madder – Rubia cordifolia – It is a famous herb for blood detoxification. Its root is extensively used in many skin disease medicines of Ayurveda.
Jaiphal – Nutmeg – Myristica fragrans – It improves skin tone and complexion.
Chandan swet – Sandalwood – Santalum album – Detoxifies blood, improves skin tone and complexion.
Sugandhbala – Jatamansi – Valeriana jatamansi – Because of its bitter taste and Pitta balancing quality, it is widely used to purify blood. Hence useful in skin diseases.
Ela Badi – Greater cardamom – Amomum subulatum – It has anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. 
Haldi – Turmeric – Curcuma longa – Natural detoxifier, useful for quick wound healing and skin diseases. It detoxifies blood and improves skin complexion.
Sphatik Bhasma – Alum Calx – It is an Ayurvedic medicine in powder form, used in the treatment of leucoderma, herpes etc.
Katha – Khadira – Acacia catechu – It is a very famous skin benefiting Ayurveda herb.
Kapoor – Camphor – Cinnamomum camphora – It improves blood circulation.
Kumari – Aloe Vera – Aloe barbadensis – It is useful to heal burn wounds, boils, acne, blisters, allergic skin disorders.

How to use

Usage of Patanjali Divya Kanti Lep:
Mix two teaspoon of Patanjali Divya kanti lep with honey, milk, rose water or aloe vera juice to form a paste.
This paste can be applied on the face and allowed to stay for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Then, one can rinse the face with fresh water.
Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects

Side effects of Patanjali Divya Kanti Lep:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
