Styplon Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by The Himalaya Drug Company. It is used in the treatment of Bleeding Gums.

Styplon Tablet Ingredients

Amalaki – Gooseberry – Phyllanthus emblica – 130 mg – It relieves constipated bowels, one of the complications in hemorrhoids and useful in bleeding disorders.
Pravala pishti – Coral calcium – 130 mg – Useful in high Pitta conditions. It provides natural calcium and vitamin C for the development and maintenance of healthy bones, teeth and cell membrane.
Anantamul – Sarsaparilla – Hemidesmus indicus – 65 mg – Useful in menorrhagia.
Chandana – Sandal wood – Santalum album – 65 mg – Detoxifies blood and useful in bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding, menorrhagia.
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa Roxb – 65 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders such as bleeding hemorrhoids, menorrhagia etc.
Nagkesara – Mesua ferrea – 60 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders.
Durva – Cynodon dactylon – 30 mg – Coolant, balances Kapha and Pitta doshas, useful in bleeding disorders.
Lajjalu – Mimosa pudica – 30 mg – Useful in female reproductive system related disorders such as heavy periods.
Vasaka – Malabarnut – Justicia adhatoda – 30 mg – Detoxifies blood and useful in bleeding disorders.
Sourashtri bhasma – 30 mg
Trinakantamani pishti – Amber of Succinite – 30 mg – It is used in the treatment of diarrhoea, metrorrhagia, menorrhagia, bleeding hemorrhoids, ulcerative colitis, fever, anorexia.

Indications

Bleeding gums
Bleeding haemorrhoids
epistaxis
abnormal uterine bleeding or sporting
haematuria
haemoptysis as an adjuvant.
Mid cycle spotting, painful periods with heavy bleeding

Dosage

1 to 2 tablets twice daily,
Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
