Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Charak Pharma Pvt. Ltd. It is an herbal support for PCOS – Poly cystic ovarian syndrome & diabetes. It is also an herbal insulin sensitizer with D-Chiro-Inositol edge.

Indication
Border line diabetes As an adjuvant therapy with existing hypoglycemic agents in OHAs failure cases to prevent further complications.
In PCOS in women leading to menstrual disorders and infertility.
Adjuvant to OHA or a stand-alone in newly detected cases of mild diabetes mellitus.
Long term management of PCOS.
Dosage
In diabetes – 2 tablets twice a day, half an hour before meals or as directed by the physician.
In polycystic ovarian syndrome – 2 tablets twice a day for 3-6 months, or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
With Other Medicines
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
Ingredients
Each coated tablet contains powder & bhasmas of –
Haridra – Turmeric – Curcuma longa – 100 mg – In the treatment of Diabetes, Haridra is excellent option both as a preventive and curative agent.
Jambu – Jamun – Eugenia jambolana – 50 mg – It is especially beneficial in controlling blood sugar levels in diabetics.
Kiratatikta – Swertia chirata – 50 mg – It has blood sugar lowering activity. Shilajitu – Asphaltum – 25 mg – From body building, to treating disorders such as diabetes, asthma etc, shilajit is very commonly used.
Trivanga bhasma – 20 mg – It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes, urinary tract diseases etc.
Mass extracts of –
Avartaki – Cassia auriculata – 100 mg – It is used for diabetes.
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry – Embelica officinalis – 100 mg – Amla was studied to demonstrate hypoglycemic activity in an animal experimental research study.
Nagajihva – Enicostemma littorale – 50 mg – It has anti-diabetic action. Meshashringi – Gymnema sylvestre – 50 mg – It is a herb popularly known for its anti- diabetic action and is mentioned in Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes.
Asana – Indian kino tree – Pterocarpus marsupeum – 50 mg – It has anti-diabetic activity.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 50 mg – Useful in treatment of diabetes, urinary tract disorders.
Nimba – Melia azadirachta – 50 mg – Useful in diabetes.
Do’s, Don’ts
Do’s
Regular exercise is recommended – evening or morning walk. Consumption of vegetables like Karavellaka (Bittergourd) & Shigru (Drumstick).
Do check fasting and post-lunch blood glucose at least once a week.
Strictly follow doctor’s drug regimen and diet.
Drink at least 8 – 10 glasses of water daily.
Don’ts
Avoid injury/cut.
Reduce alcohol consumption & smoking.
Avoid oily & spicy foods, sweets and honey.
Avoid excessive physical and psychological stress.
Side effects of Hyponidd Tablet
There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.
