Sri Sri Tattva Vedanantaka Liniment is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Sri Sri Tattva Company. When rubbed on the skin, it gets absorbed into the tissues to alleviate pain and inflammation.
Ingredients of Sri Sri Tattva Vedanantaka Liniment:
Pinda taila – 2.0 ml
Dhanvantaram taila – 2.0 ml – Used in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and spondylosis.
Narayana taila – 2.0 ml
Sarala taila – Pinus longifolia – 1.0 ml – It has analgesic action.
Gandhapura taila – Wintergreen – Gaultheria procumbens – 0.8 ml – It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory activities.
Devadaru taila – Himalayan cedar – Cedrus deodara – 0.8 ml
Nirgundi taila – Vitex negundo – 0.5 ml – It acts as a muscle relaxant and analgesic.
Shallaki taila – Boswellia serrata – 0.5 ml – Used for osteoarthritis and muscular pain.
Tailaparni taila – Eucalyptus globulous – 0.2 ml
Gandhatruna taila – Cymbopogon flexuosus – 0.2 ml
Karpura – Cinnamomum camphora – 0.1ml
Menthol – Mentha spicata – 0.1 ml
Lavanga oil green SS 82 colour – 0.002 ml
Indiction:
Backache,
muscle spasm and ache,
all arthritic pains,
spondylitis,
sprain,
sports trauma,
Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains
Bursitis,
Bursitis trochanterica,
Shoulder dislocation pain
Caution:
Do not apply on open wounds, mucous membranes and inflamed or tender skin.
Dosage:
To be massaged gently on the skin over the affected areas,
or as directed by the physician.

Side effects and Precautions:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its use during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during the lactation period and in children for a limited period of a few weeks time.
How long to take?
This medicine is usually prescribed for a period of 1 – 2 months time.

If
you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can
continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy,
better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare
cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult
your doctor for the right advice.
Can
this product be applied after steam therapy?
No.
Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic
principles.
