Akshay Forte Tablet is the proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Akshay Pharma Remedies. These are the general health tonics.
Ingredients
Ingredients of Akshay Forte tablet:
Each coated tablet contains-
- Ashwagandha [Withania somnifera] – 60 mg
- Atibala [Abutilon indicum] – 60 mg – Atibala – Abutilon indicum is an Ayurvedic herb with aphrodisiac and body strengthening properties. Used in treatment of leprosy, liver disorders, ulcers, headache etc.
- Guduchi [Tinospora cordifolia] – 60 mg
- Krishna musali [Curculigo orchioides] – 60 mg
- Shatavari [Asperagus racemosus] – 60 mg – Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus helps mother to lactate more, useful in treating male and female infertility, induces sleep, calms mind and stomach and much more.
- Shuddha shilajitu [Asphaltum] – 50 mg
- Mouktika pisti – 12.5 mg
- Swarna makshika bhasma – 12.5 mg
- Micronize & potentised with Shalmali [Salmalia malabarica] – 100 mg – Shalmali is one of the very useful Ayurvedic herb, used since thousands of years. Its botanical name is Salmalia malabarica. Bombax ciba and bombax malabaricum are also its synonyms. It belongs to bombocaceae family.
Indication
Indication of Akshay Forte Tablet & Syrup:
- Weakness & malnutrition
- Lack of physical strength
- Muscular weakness
- General debility
- Loss of weight
- Adjuvant in malignancy
- Suppressed immunity.
Dose
Dosage of Akshay Forte:
Children – 1 tablet twice or thrice a day.
Adults – 2 tablets twice or thrice a day.
The dosage may be adjusted/modified as per the severity of the disorder.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
