Adacazole Forte is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Akshay Pharma Remedies. It is an anti-diarrhoeal and used to treat acute & chronic amoebiasis.
Adacazole Forte is a well-balanced composition to treat diarrhea & dysentery especially associated with cramping pain and/or severe gripping pain. It not only reduces the frequency & consistency of the stools, but also helps to restore the intestinal bacterial flora and enhances the digestive process.

- Controls intestinal motility
- Resists extracellular fluid in the digestive system
- Controls infection
- Improves the flow of essential digestive enzymes

Ingredients of Adacazole Forte tablet:
Each coated tablet contains-
- Vatsakadi kwatha – 250 mg
- Shunti [Zingiber officinale] – 100 mg
- Bilva majja [Aegle marmelos] – 50 mg
- Agnitundi vati – 25 mg – Agnitundi Vati is an Ayurvedic tablet used in indigestion and fever. This should used only under strict medical supervision
- Kapardika bhasma – 6.25 mg – Calx of Cowries
- Shankha bhasma – 6.25 mg – Calx of Conch
- Micronized & potentised with Kutaja [Holarrhena antidysentrca] – 100 mg
Indications
Indications of Adacazole Forte:
- Diarrhea
- Dysentery [amoebic/baccilary]
- Irritable bowel syndrome.
Diet rules
Pathya:-
- Avail roasted grains
- Drink boiled water to prevent infections
- Boiled water with pinch of salt
- Little jiggery and lemon in case of dehydration
- Avoid milk and other dairy products
- Unless there is natural urge for eating, it is good to avoid even normal meal.
Dose, presentation
Dosage of Adacazole Forte tablet
Adults- 2 tablets with 2 tsp syrup twice or thrice a day.
The dosage may be adjusted/modified as per the severity of the disorder.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Over-dosage may cause gastritis, heart burn symptoms in people with sensitive stomach.
