Migrakot Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal. It reduces the chances of getting headaches. Migrakot tablet is a formulation based on the preparation of Pathyakshadhatryadi Kwatham mentioned in Sharangadhara Samhita.

Uses

Uses of Migrakot Tablet:
The unique combination of the herbal ingredients is an ideal choice in the treatment of migraine.
The properties of herbal ingredients in the formulations have anti-emetic, analgesic, vaso-relaxation and cooling properties, thus supporting the treatment of migraine.
It supports the nervous system and strengthens the senses.

Ingredients of Migrakot Tablet:
Pathya (Terminalia chebula)- fruit rind- 0.537 g – Haritaki
Aksha (Terminalia bellerica)- fruit rind- 0.537 g – Vibhiatki
Dhatri (Embelica officinale)- fruit rind- 0.537 g – Amla
Bhunimba (Andrographis paniculata)– whole plant- 0.537 g- Useful in Pitta Dosha balance
Nisa (Curcuma longa)- rhizome- 0.537 g – Turmeric
Nimba (Azadirachta indica)- bark- 0.537 g – Neem
Amrita (Tinospora cordifolia)- stem- 0.537 g – Indian Tinospora.
Excepients- q.s.
Preservative- Methyl Paraben Sodium, Propyl Paraben Sodium.

Dose

Dosage of Migrakot Tablet:
2 tablets thrice daily, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.

  3. I have a question concerning Migrakot. Can I take it ONLY when I have migraine ? then 2 tablets per time, 2/3 times per day until migraine is gone ,? Or is a cure ? thanks in advance Patrizia
