Glucova Active Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Vasu Healthcare pharmaceuticals, Vadodara, Gujarat. Glucova Active controls sugar naturally. 

Stress, modern life style and food habits are some factors leading to diabetes mellitus. Ingredients of Glucova Active have blood sugar lowering properties without causing hypoglycemia.

Uses

Uses of Glucova Active Tablet:
Reduces fasting and post-prandial hyperglycemia.
Brings down blood glucose level gradually.
Does not cause hypoglycemia.
Delays onset of diabetic complications.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Glucova Active Tablet:
Each film coated tablet contains,
Vijayasara – Asana – Pterocarpus marsupium – 360 mg
Mamejavo – 150 mg
Jambu – Eugenia jambolana – 150 mg – Jamun is a very important Ayurvedic herb. Jamun seeds are mainly used in Ayurveda treatment. Among other things, it is especially beneficial in controlling blood sugar levels in diabetics. India was previously called as Jambudveepa. An Island where Jambu trees are abundant. Its botanical name is Syzygium cumini or Eugenia jambolana or Myrtus cumini. It belongs to Myrtaceae. It is also known as Jamoon and Jambul.
Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – 200 mg
Pramehahara Kwatha – 40 mg
Chandraprabha Vati – 40 mg – It is a tablet, used in Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes, diseases of urinary track, and many other disease conditions. It is widely used in Ayurvedic practice, across India.

Indication

Indication of Glucova Active Tablet:
Non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus.
Borderline case of NIDDM.

Dose, package

Dosage of Glucova Active Tablet:
2 tablets twice a day, half an hour before meals. Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
