Tvakshuddhi Tablets – Uses, Dose, Ingredients

Tvakshuddhi Tablets is used for treating skin diseases, allergic rashes and non-healing ulcers. It is proved by the scientific research studies for the treatment of varieties of skin diseases. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured in Muniyal Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals.

Uses

Uses of Tvakshuddhi Tablets:
It is a herbo-mineral product having anti-inflammatory and immune modulatory activities.

Indications

Indications-
(chronic skin diseases) Kusta
(vitiligo and leucoderma) Shvitra
(pruritis) Kandu
(infected chronic ulcers). Dusta vrana

Dose

Dose:

1-2 tablets twice daily, with milk or lukewarm water.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Tvakshuddhi Tablets:
Patola (Tricosanthes dioica)- anti-infective, anti-oxidant.
Vasa (Adhatoda vasica)- anti-inflammatory, anti-histamine, anti-bacterial.
Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia)– immune modulator, anti-oxidant, hepato-protective.
Guggulu (Commiphora mukul)- anti-inflammatory, analgesic.
Shilajithu (Asphaltum punjabicanum)- immune modulator, anti-oxidant.
Rasamanikya – Heals wounds and ulcers quickly, excellent anti-microbial, potent formulation in chronic skin diseases like eczema and psoriasis.
Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus) – Indian Sarsaparilla – effective against E-coli, Streptococcus, S. aureus, K. pneumoniae, P.aeruginosa infections, promotes wound healing activity.
Khadira (Acacia catechu)- anti-mycotic, best drug in skin disease, enhances healing process of wounds and ulcers.

Side effects, storage

Side effects of Tvakshuddhi Tablets:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It should be taken under strict medical supervision. Take this medicine only if your Ayurveda doctor has prescribed it to you.
Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container, away from direct sunlight.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time and in the prescribed dose only.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation and in children.
Over-dosage may cause gastritis, heart burn symptoms in people with sensitive stomach.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Storage: Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container.
