Heartogen Tablet is a safe and effective cardiac tonic and cardio protective. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured in Muniyal Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals.

Uses

Uses of Heartogen Tablets:

  • Heartogen improves the contractility of heart.
  • Heartogen reduces platelet adhesion.
  • Heartogen regulates serum lipids.
  • Clear blocks in coronary arteries thus improving coronary blood supply.
  • Very helpful in cardiac conditions like mild hypertension, tachycardia, angina pectoris, cardiac arrhythmia, dyspnea.
  • Improves blood circulation to heart and strengthen heart muscles.
  • Can also be used as a supportive therapy along with allopathic drugs in all types of cardiac ailments.

It is developed by making use of Hridya herbs mentioned in Ayurveda, which keep Prana Vayu, Sadhaka Pitta and Avalambaka Kapha present in the heart in perfect balance there by protecting the heart.

Scientific background

Scientific background of Heartogen:

  • Acute oral toxicity study proved that Heartogen is free from toxicity even at the dose of 6000mg/kg body weight, which is the maximum possible dose.
  • It was evaluated for its cardio-protective action which was established that Heartogen acts through the inhibition of apoptosis (cell death) and oxidative damage. It enhances the resistance of myocardial membrane structure against the iso-proterenol induced myocardial damages.the latest study provide evidence forprotective effects of Heartogen on myocardium in experimentally inducedmyocardial infarction (major heart atack).

Dose

Dosage:
2 tablets, 2 – 3 times a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Swarnamakshika bhasma – Copper pyrite and Iron pyrite – Cu2S, Fe2S3
Pravala bhasma – Coral calx – a natural source for calcium.
Muktha Bhasma – Calx of Pearl – Calcium carbonate – CaCO3.
Guduchi-Tinospora cordifolia
Dadima – Pomegranate – Punica granatum
Vidanga-Embelica ribes – one of the powerful anti-parasitic herbs of Ayurveda.
Hingu-Asfoetida – an ancient Indian culinary ingredient, loaded with immense health benefits. Its powder with buttermilk is a very famous Indian home remedy for bloating.

Bala-Sida cordifolia – The word Bala refers to strength. This herb is used to increase strength of body. Bala is an ancient Ayurvedic herb, used widely in a variety of Ayurvedic medicines and oils to improve strength of bones, muscles and joints.
