Stonil Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd. It is used in the treatment of Urinary calculus.
Stonil Capsule Ingredients
Trivikram Ras – Ayurvedic medicine – 40 mg – It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of urinary calculi and gravels.
Hajrul Yahud Bhasma – Badarashma – Lime Silicate – 60 mg – It is useful in treating urinary calculi, difficulty in urination and other urinary tract disorders.
Purified Suhaga – Calcined Borax – 30 mg
Pashan Bheda – Bergenia ligulata – 50 mg – Useful in dysuria, urinary calculi, urinary tract disorders and cleanses urinary bladder.
Apamarg Kshar – Achyranthes aspera Linn – 15 mg – It acts as a natural diuretic. Hence useful to relieve dysurea (difficulty in urination).
Shuddha Shilajit – Asphaltum – 20 mg – It has anti-lithiatic, anti-inflammatory and diuretic activities.
Extract of Gokharu – Tribulus terrestris – 15 mg – Useful in kidney and urinary bladder stones, gall bladder stones and urinary tract infections.
Punarnava Kshara – Boerhavia diffusa Linn – 15 mg – It has diuretic, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial activities.
Bang Bhasma – Calcined Stannum – 10 mg – Excellent in all urinary disorders and is good in gonorrhoea, strained micturition and diabetes, and develops virility and strength.
Indications
Urinary calculus,
Repeated stone formation,
Urinary tract infections.
Dosage
1 to 2 capsules 2 – 3 times a day,
or as advised by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
