Kasyapa Choorna Ingredients, Indications, Dosage

Kasyapa choorna is an Ayurvedic proprietary medicine in powder form. It is mainly used in the treatment of all eye diseases. It is the best immune booster.

Ingredients of Kashyapa churna

Each 10 grams prepared out of –
Jivanti – Leptadania reticulata – 4 grams – It is the best rejuvenating herb and immune booster.
Amalaki – Emblica officinalis – 0.80 grams – It is the good immune booster and improve the eye sight
Vibhitaki – Terminalia bellerica – 0.80 grams
Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – 0.80 grams
Yashtimadhu – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 0.80 grams – It is the best herb for eyes.
Yava – Hordeum vulgare- 0.80 grams
Kutaja – Holarrhena antidysenterica – 0.40 grams
Dyxoxylum malabaricum – 0.40 grams
Coptis teeta – 0.40 grams
Kaidarya – Murraya koenigii – 0.40 grams
Chandrashoora – Lepidium sativum – 0.40 grams

Dosage

5 – 10 grams, once or twice a day, after food or as directed by the physician.

Side effects, shelf life

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.

With Homeopathy and western medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
