Acidinol Syrup – Ingredients, Indications, Dose, Side effects

Acidinol Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Ban Labs Pvt. Ltd. It is used for the treatment of hyperacidity, gastritis, flatulence, peptic ulcer etc.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Acidinol Syrup
Licorice – Yashtimadu – Glycyrrhiza glabra
Giloy– Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – It improves digestion power.
Pointed gourd – Parval– Trichosanthes dioica – It is very beneficial to improve gastric health.
Triphala –
Gooseberry – Amla – Emblica officinalis
Chebulic myrobalan – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – It improves digestion strength and useful in bloating, constipation, abdominal distention etc.
Belliric myrobalan – Vibitaki – Terminalia bellirica
Kalmegh – Andrographis paniculata – It is used for the treatment of diseases of the liver, skin diseases, lack of appetite, fever etc.
Pittapapda– Parpataka – Fumaria parviflora – It is an effective Ayurvedic herb used in fever, high Pitta conditions such as fever, gastritis, diarrhea, excessive thirst etc.
Malabar nut – Ardusi– Adhatoda vasica – It balances Pitta.
Neem – Nimba – Azadirachta indica– It improves digestion process.
Turmeric – Haridra – Curcuma longa
Chitrak– Plumbago zeylanica – It is one of the powerful digestive and carminative herbs of Ayurveda.
Indrajav – Holarrhena antidysenterica – It is useful in the treatment of indigestion, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, worm infestation etc.
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – Because of its bitter principles and coolant properties, it is very useful in treating gastritis.
Dhamasa – Duralaba – Fagoniacretica – It is used for the treatment of general debility, mouth ulcer, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea etc.
Sarja Kshara– It is an Ayurvedic medicine used in the treatment of flatulence, abdominal colic pain, worm infestation, indigestion etc.

Dosage of Acidinol Syrup
5 to 8 ml, 3 to 4 times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Side effects of Acidinol Syrup
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.

With Homeopathy and western medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
