Dabur Avipattikar Tablet is an Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Dabur India Ltd. It is used in the treatment of indigestion, constipation, hyperacidity, heart burn etc.

Ingredients of Dabur Avipattikar Tablets
Nishoth – Trivrit – Operculina turpethum – 500 mg – Of all the herbs useful in easy purgation, Operculina turpethum is the best.
Clove – Lavanga – Syzygium aromaticum – 11.35 mg – It is useful in the treatment of indigestion, tastelessness, bloating, abdominal colic pain, vomiting, cough, asthma etc.
Ginger – Shunti- Zingiber officinale – 11.35 mg – It is unctuous, promotes digestion, aphrodisiac, hot in potency, balances Vata and Kapha.
Black Pepper – Maricha – Piper nigrum – 11.35 mg – Because of its cutting and drying effects, it improves digestion strength.
Cardamom – Ela – Elettaria cardamom – 11.35 mg – It improves taste and digestion strength.
Gooseberry – Amla – Emblica officinalis – 11.35 mg
Long Pepper – Pippali – Piper longum – 11.35 mg – It is useful in the treatment of indigestion, piles, asthma, chronic lung disorders etc.
Chebulic myrobalan – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – 11.35 mg – It improves digestion strength and promotes bowel movement.
Vidanga – Embelia ribes – 11.35 mg – It is useful in the treatment of worm infestation, indigestion, constipation, bloating, abdominal distension etc.
Tejpatra – Cinnamomum tamala – 11.35 mg
Musta – Cyperus rotundus – 11.35 mg – Of all the herbs useful as absorbent, digestive and carminative, Musta is the best.
Belliric myrobalan – Vibitaki – Terminalia bellirica – 11.35 mg
Black Salt – Krishna Lavan – 11.35 mg – It brings about clarity to the channels, useful in bloating, constipation, abdominal colic pain etc.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
