Trayushanadi Loha – Ingredients, Benefits, Dose, Side effects

Trayushanadi Loha is an Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Shri Ayurved Seva Sadan. It is used in the treatment of obesity, diabetes, skin diseases.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Trayushanadi Loha
Ginger – Shunti – Zingiber officinale – It promotes digestion, hot in potency, balances Vata and Kapha.
Long Pepper – Pippali – Piper longum – It is useful in the treatment of obesity, diabetes, indigestion, skin diseases etc.
Black Pepper – Maricha – Piper nigrum – Because of its cutting and drying effects, it increases digestion strength and balances Kapha and Vata dosha.
Chebulic myrobalan – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula– It improves digestion and promotes bowel movement. It has hypolipidemic and anti-diabetic activities.
Belliric myrobalan – Vibitaki – Terminalia bellirica
Gooseberry – Amalaki – Emblica officinalis – It is useful in the treatment of obesity, diabetes, skin diseases etc.
Chavya–Piper retrofractum – It balances Kapha and Vata dosha.
Chitraka – Plumbago zeylanica – It is one of the powerful digestive and carminative herbs of Ayurveda.
Vida Lavana– Alkaline, produces burning and corrosive action, enters into minute channels and hot in nature.
Black Salt – Kala Namak
Bakuchi– Psoralea corylifolia–Useful in the treatment of skin diseases, diabetes and urinary tract disorders.
Rock salt – Saindhava Lavana– Because it has the dissolving and disintegrating effect, it is widely used in obesity.
Iron Calx – Loha Bhasma–It is useful in gastric complaints, skin diseases, obesity, diabetes, muscle wasting etc.

500 to 750 mg twice a day along with honey.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.

With Homeopathy and western medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Can this be taken by a patient with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease)?
If the patient of CKD has iron deficiency anemia, then this medicine can be administered as per doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
