Dhananjay Vati – Ingredients, Benefits, Dose, Side effects

Dhananjay Vati is an Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Krishn Gopal Ayurved Bhawan. It is used in the treatment of indigestion, abdominal colic, decreased appetite etc.

Ingredients of Dhananjay Vati
Safed jeera – White Cumin – Cuminum cyminum– It is very good in treating digestive tract disorders.
Chitraka – Plumbago zeylanica – It is one of the powerful digestive and carminative herbs of Ayurveda.
Chavya – Piper retrofractum – It is useful in the treatment of indigestion, abdominal colic pain, worm infestation, constipation etc.
Black caraway – Kala jeera – Carum carvi – Carminative, absorbent, useful in bloating, diarrhea, vomiting etc.
Sweet flag – Vacha– Acorus calamus – Useful in the treatment of abdominal colic pain, constipation, bloating, indigestion etc.
Cinnamon – Dalchini– Cinnamomum zeylanica–It improves taste and digestion strength.
Kachur– Curcuma zedoaria – It is used in the treatment of worm infestation, hemorrhoids, fever, cough etc.
Hauber – Hapusha – Juniperus communis – It is useful in the treatment of abdominal colic pain, hemorrhoids, constipation etc.
Bay leaf – Tejpat–Cinnamomum tamala
Nagakesar – Mesua ferrea – It is a very famous Ayurvedic herb used in treating fever, vomiting, urinary tract disorders, migraine etc.
Saunf – Fennel – Foeniculum vulgare – It improves digestion strength, useful in anorexia, worm infestation, constipation etc.
Carom seed – Ajwain– Carum copticum – It is used extensively in digestive diseases.
Long pepper root – Pippali mool – Piper longum – It is hot, useful in asthma, indigestion, bloating, anorexia, cold, cough, low metabolism etc.

Chebulic myrobalan – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – It improves digestion strength and helps in normalizing bowel movements.
Nutmeg – Jaiphal – Myristica fragrans – Digestive tonic.
Clove – Lavanga – Syzygium aromaticum – It improves taste and digestion strength.
Coriander – Dhanyaka – Coriandrum sativum – It is useful in the treatment of indigestion, anorexia, vomiting, worm infestation etc.
Sambhar salt– Romaka lavana – Useful in indigestion, Ama conditions, low Pitta conditions and constipation.
Black pepper – Maricha – Piper nigrum – Because of its cutting and drying effects, it increases digestion strength and balances Kapha and Vata.
Long pepper – Pippali – Piper longum – It has all qualities of a typical spice like useful in indigestion, asthma, cough etc.
Nishoth– Trivrit – Operculina turpethum – It is an important Ayurveda herb, used in treatment of Kapha and Pitta dominant disorders. It is useful in easy purgation.
Sea salt – Samudra lavan– It has cutting action, improves taste and digestion strength.
Rock salt – Saindhava lavan– It aids in digestion by stimulating digestive fire, balances natural production of HCl, and is prescribed for laxative and digestive disorders.
Ginger – Shunti – Zingiber officinale–It is unctuous, promote digestion, hot in potency, balances Vata and Kapha.
Amlavetas– Garcinia pedunculata – It is an excellent cardiac stimulant, digestive and laxative.
Tamarind – Imli– Tamarindus indica – It improves taste and digestion strength.
Lemon juice – Nimbu ras – Citrus medica – It relieves abdominal colic pain, indigestion, anorexia, vomiting etc.

Side effects of Dhananjay Vati
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
