Dhatupaushtik Churna: Benefits, Ingredients, Dose, Side effects

Dhatupaushtik Churna is an Ayurvedic medicine in powder form, useful in the treatment of weakness, spermatorrhea, oligospermia, impotency etc.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Dhatupaushtik Churna:
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – It improves sperm and semen quantity and quality.
Tribulus – Gokhru Beej – Tribulus terrestris – It is used for body building, to relieve diseases of uro-genital system and as an aphrodisiac. 
Country mallow – Beejband – Sida cordifolia – Natural aphrodisiac.
Bamboo – Banshlochan – Bambusa arundinacea – It is a plant mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of cough, skin diseases, wounds, digestive disorders, nausea, gynecological disorders and fever. 
Kankola – Kabab-chini – Piper cubeba – It is a herb mentioned in the Ayurveda pharmacopoeia for the treatment of cough, swelling, dysmenorrhea, erectile dysfunction and indigestion.
Chopchini – Smilax china – Useful in the treatment of syphilis, impotency and seminal disorders.
Kawanch beej – Kapikacchu – Mucuna pruriens – It is widely used in treating sexual and neurological disorders.
Safed musli – Asparagus adscendens – It is a plant mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, lack of libido and to improve the body stamina. 
Kali musli – Black Musli – Curculigo orchioides – It is an Ayurveda herb, used for the treatment of sperm deformity, low sperm count, skin and respiratory disorders.
Ginger – Sontha – Zingiber officinale – Aphrodisiac, improves vigour.
Black pepper – Kali Mirch – Piper nigrum
Long pepper – Pipal – Piper longum – It is a very good aphrodisiac and anti ageing spice. 
Salam Mishri – Orchis latifolia
Vidarikand – Pueraria tuberosa – It improves sperm and semen quantity and quality.
Indian ginseng – Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – It improves sexual performance, useful in premature ejaculation and in some cases of erectile dysfunction.
Trivrit – Nisoth – Operculina turpethum

Indications of Dhatupaushtik Churna:
Oligospermia
Impotency
Premature ejaculation
Nightfall
Erectile dysfunction

Weakness

Dose

Dosage of Dhatupaushtik Churna:
1 to 2 teaspoonful with equal quantity of sugar candy mixed with milk.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

Side effects, shelf life

Side effects of Dhatupaushtik Churna:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Shelf life:
2 years from the date of manufacturing date.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?

Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
