Supari Pak Granules: Benefits, Ingredients, Dose, Side effects

Supari Pak is an Ayurvedic medicine in granule form. It is used as an uterine tonic after delivery. It is useful in leucorrhoea, infertility, general weakness.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Supari Pak Granules:
Camphor – Kapur – Cinnamomum camphora – It acts as aphrodisiac in lower doses.
Tejpatra – Cinnamomum tamala
Pudina – Mentha piperita
Nagarmotha – Mustha – Cyperus rotundus – It is useful in urinary tract infections, dysuria and vaginal white discharge.
Long pepper – Pippali – Piper longum – It is a very good aphrodisiac and anti ageing spice.
Khorasani Ajwain – Hyoscyamus niger – Used in treating motion sickness, premature ejaculation. It reduces sexual desire and excitation.
Talispatra – Abies webbiana
Tavakshiri – Bambusa arundinacea – It is a plant mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of cough, skin diseases, wounds, digestive disorders, nausea, gynecological disorders and fever. 
Mace – Javitri – Myristica fragrans – Acts as aphrodisiac.
Sandalwood – Safed Chandan – Santalum album – Acts as aphrodisiac and useful in bleeding disorders.
Black pepper – Kali Mirch – Piper nigrum
Nutmeg – Jaiphal – Myristica fragrans
Cumin – Safed Jiraka – Cuminum cyminum – Natural aphrodisiac. It cleanses and detoxifies uterus. Hence it is widely used in post partum care of the mother.
Clove – Laung – Syzygium aromaticum
Coriander – Dhania – Coriandrum sativum
Long pepper root – Pipalamul – Piper longum
Nilotpala – Nymphaea stellata
Singhada – Trapa bispinosa – Aphrodisiac, improves vigor and useful in bleeding disorders.
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – It is useful in treating male and female infertility.
Nagkeshar – Mesua ferrea – It is used in the treatment of female infertility.
Almond – Badam – Prunus amygdalus – It is mainly used for the treatment of nerve disorder, general debility, to improve the memory power and increase the sexual vigor. 
Pista – Pistacia vera
Munakka – Vitis vinifera – Aphrodisiac, improves nourishment and useful in bleeding disorders.
Mishri – Sugar candy
Areca nut – Supari – Areca catechu
Ghrit – Ghee

Indications

Indications of Supari Pak Granules:
Used as an uterine tonic after delivery
Leucorrhoea
Infertility
General weakness
Spermatorrhea, erectile dysfunction and oligospermia

Dose, duration of use

Dosage of Supari Pak Granules:
1 to 2 tea spoonful with cows milk or water twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

Side effects and shelf life

Side effects of Supari Pak Granules:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Shelf life:
2 years from the date of manufacturing date.

With Homeopathy and western medicine


Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?

Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
