Ingredients of Patanjali Divya Swasari Kwath Powder:
Mulethi – Yashtimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – Good expectorant, expels phlegm from lungs, heals respiratory diseases.
Kateli Choti – Kantakari – Solanum xanthocarpum – It is used widely in the treatment of cough, cold, asthma and such other respiratory tract conditions.
Kala Adusa – Justicia gendarussa
Safed Vasa – Malabar nut – Adhatoda vasica – It has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, broncho-dilatory and anti-tussive properties.
Vanapsa – Banafsa – Viola odorata – It is used in treating cough, asthma, fever with burning sensation, body ache etc.
Desh Tulsi – Holy Basil – Ocimum sanctum – It balances Kapha dosha, useful to relieve excess sputum production.
Choti Pipal – Long pepper – Piper longum – Useful in cough, cold, asthma, COPD and other respiratory diseases.
Dalchini – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum
Laung – Clove – Syzygium aromaticum – Useful in the treatment of cough, cold, asthma, COPD, wheezing, breathing difficulty.
Saunth – Ginger – Zingiber officinale
Tejpatra – Cinnamomum tamala – It is an Ayurveda herb mentioned for the treatment of bad odor from mouth, black spots on the face, dental caries, swelling, cough and in complications of tuberculosis.
Bharangi – Clerodendrum serratum – It is a powerful Ayurvedic herb used in treating allergic rhinitis, asthma, fever and other inflammatory conditions.
Lasoda – Cordia dichotoma – It is an Ayurvedic plant, used for the treatment of cough, asthma, skin diseases, fever, diarrhea, intestinal worms and wounds.
Amaltas – Aragvada – Cassia fistula – It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities.

Dosage and Usage
Dosage and usage of Patanjali Divya Swasari Kwath Powder:
Mix 5 – 10 g of kwath powder in around 400 ml water and boil it, till residue is 100 ml. Filter it. Take twice or thrice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
