Patanjali Pachak Anardana Goli is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form, manufactured by Patanjali Ayurved Limited. It is used in the treatment of indigestion, loss of appetite, laziness after having lunch.
Ingredients
Ingredients of Patanjali Pachak Anardana Tablet:
Pomegranate Seed – Dadima beeja – Punica granatum – It improves digestion power of stomach and taste of food. It is good for heart.
Mishi – Fennel Seeds – Foeniculum vulgare – Useful in the treatment of worm infestation, constipation, indigestion, anorexia etc.
Sauvarchala Lavana – Black Salt – It brings about clarity to channels.
Saindhava Lavana – Rock Salt – It aids in digestion by stimulating digestive fire, balances natural production of HCl, and is prescribed for laxative and digestive disorders.
Maricha – Black Pepper – Piper nigrum – Useful in the treatment of gastric ailments.
Pippali – Long Pepper – Piper longum – Useful in indigestion, anemia, splenic disorder etc.
Sharkara – Sugar
Dhanyaka – Coriander – Coriandrum sativum – It acts as diuretic, absorbent, cardiac tonic, improves digestion strength and taste.
Jeeraka – Cumin Seed – Cuminum cyminum – It is very good in treating digestive track disorders.
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum – It improves digestion strength, is useful in diabetes, high cholesterol etc.
Brihat Ela – Large Cardamom – Amomum subulatum
Hingu – Asafoetida – Ferula asafoetida – Carminative, digestive, useful in the treatment of abdominal colic pain, abdominal tumor, bloating, worm infestation, constipation etc.
Citric Acid – Useful in digestive disorders.
Gulkand – It is a paste like preparation used to treat gastric ulcer, burning sensation of the body and other pitta dosha predominant diseases.

3 – 5 tablets twice in a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

It can be taken for upto 4 – 5 months, based on doctor’s advice.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
