Thaaleesaadhi Vadagam Tablet is a classical Siddha vataka in tablet form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode – Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of respiratory & digestive tract disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Thaaleesaadhi Vadagam Tablet:

Each 500 mg tablet contains –
Thaaleesa paththiri – Talispatra – Taxus baccata – 3.63 % – It is aromatic, appetizer, expectorant and mildly laxative.
Milagu – Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 3.63 %
Chevviyam – Chavya – Piper chaba – 3.63 % – Its root and fruit are useful in treating indigestion, abdominal colic, poisoning, anorexia etc. 
Thippili – Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 7.27 % – It has all qualities of a typical spice like useful in indigestion, asthma, cough etc. 
Thippilimoolam – Pippalimoola – Long pepper root – Piper longum – 7.27 % – It is hot, useful in asthma, indigestion, bloating, anorexia, cold, cough, low metabolism etc.
Chukku – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 10.90 % – It is useful in indigestion, asthma, nausea and more. 
Lavanga pattai – Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum – 0.90 % – It improves digestion strength, is useful in diabetes, high cholesterol, its oil is applied externally for premature ejaculation and insect bites.
Lavanga paththiri – Twakpatra – Cinnamomum tamala – 0.90 %
Sirunaga poo – Nagakesara – Mesua ferrea – 0.90 % – It is a very famous Ayurveda herb used in treating fever, vomiting, urinary tract disorders, migraine etc.
Elam – Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 0.90 % – Being an excellent anti oxidant, it is used in treating blood pressure, asthma, indigestion, dysuria etc.
Vettiver – Usheera – Vetiveria zizanioides – 0.90 % – It is a coolant, but yet aids in digestion. It is widely used in treating fever, dysuria, burning sensation, fatigue syndrome, skin disorders etc.
Sittraraththai – Sugandhimoola – Alpinia calcarata – 0.90 %
Vellam – Sharkara – Saccharum officinarum – 58.18 %
Pasum paal – Go dugdha – Cows milk – Bos indicus – q.s.

Indication of Thaaleesaadhi Vadagam Tablet:

  • Irumal [cough]
  • Jaladosham [cold]
  • Kaba-vadha noigal [kapha & vatha disorders]
  • Athidaram/bedhi [diarrhea]
  • Grahani [diarrhea due to sprue syndrome]
  • Vayittru eraichchal [tympanitis]
  • Vaandhi [vomiting/emesis]
  • Pasiyinmai [loss of appetite]
  • Pakka soolai noi [hepatitis]
  • Ajeernam/ seriyamai [indigestion].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Thaaleesaadhi Vadagam Tablet:

  • 1 pill twice or thrice a day.
  • To be chewed very slowly.
    Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects and package

Side effects of Thaaleesaadhi Vadagam Tablet:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under medical supervision.
