Adhirshta Rasayanam is a classical Siddha medicine in paste/jam form manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of pittaja disorders & to treat different types of ulcers.

Ingredients of Adhirshta Rasayanam:
Parangipattai – Madhusnuhi – Smilax china – 3.70 % – It is a plant mentioned for the treatment of cancer, syphilis, skin diseases, constipation, urine retention, disease of joint etc.
Thoothuvalai – Solanum trilobatum – 3.70 %
Kantankaththiri – Kantakari – Solanum surattense – 3.70 % – It is a very useful Ayurveda herb, used widely in the treatment of cough, cold, asthma and such other respiratory tract conditions.
Jadhikkai – Jatiphala – Nutmeg – Myristica fragrans – 3.70 % – It is an aphrodisiac, digestive tonic, very useful even with external application in case of headache, useful in cough, cold, asthma and more.

• Moolam [piles]
• Kudhikaal vadham [gouty conditions]
• Aaraapungal [tropical ulcers]
• Koppulangal [sloughy & indolent ulcers, boils]
• Gunmam [gastritis]
• Piththa noigal [bilious disorders].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Adhirshta Rasayanam:
5 – 10 g with milk after food twice daily.
Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects and package

Side effects of Adhirshta Rasayanam:

• There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
• Should be taken under medical supervision.
• Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
