Vengara Parpam: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Vengara Parpam is a classical Siddha medicine in bhasma form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of urinary tract disorders.

Ingredients of Vengara Parpam:
Vengaram – Tankana – Sodium tetraborate – 100 %
Processed in –
Kozhi muttaiyin venkaru – Kukkuta mamsa – Gallus domesticus – q.s.

Indication

Indication of Vengara Parpam:

  • Vellai [leucorrhoea]
  • Mooththira kaduppu/ mooththira krichcharam [painful micturition]
  • Neerkaduppu
  • Neerkattu [retention of urine]
  • Neeradaippu [stranguria /urinary obstructions]
  • Sathaiyadaippu [urinary passage infections].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Vengara Parpam:
200 – 300 mg twice daily with butter, ghee, tender coconut water after food.
Or as directed by the physician.

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under strict medical supervision.
