Ingredients
Ingredients of Thalaga Parpam:
Purified elankaichal vediuppu – Sauvarchika – Potassium nitrate – q.s.
Puli – Chincha – Tamarind – Tamarindus indicus – q.s. – Useful in treating cardiac disorders, non healing wounds, anorexia etc.
Purified thalagam – Haratala – Arsenic trisulphide – q.s. – It is useful in skin diseases with itching, cough, cold, bronchitis, asthma, syphilis, sinus, boils etc.
Purified sippi chunnam – Kaparda bhasma – Shell powder – q.s. – It is used in the treatment of digestive impairment, Malabsorption syndrome, Asthma, bronchitis, Fever, Tuberculosis, Chronic bronchial diseases, eye diseases, Oligospermia etc.
Indication
Indication of Thalaga Parpam:
- Alal suram [fever due to pitha disorder]
- Alal vettai [gonorrhea due to pitha disorder]
- Alal kayam
- Alal kasam [respiratory diseases due to pitha disorder]
- Elai [bronchial asthma]
- Valippu [epilepsy]
- Manthara kasam [a type of respiratory disorder]
- Mega noi [types of STD disorders].
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Thalaga Parpam:
15 – 30 mg with honey after food twice daily up to 10 days,
or as directed by the physician.
Diet
Pathya:-
Avoid salt, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, pagal [bitter gourd], agathi [sasban], non-veg foods & tobacco.
