Silasathu Parpam: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Silasaththu Parpam is a classical Siddha medicine in bhasma form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of uro-genital disorders.

Siddha Vaidhiya Thirattu.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Silasaththu Parpam:
Karpoora silasathu – Karpoora Shilajitu – Calcium sulphate dehydrate – 100 % – Useful in the treatment of urinary tract infection, diabetes and difficulty in urination.
Processed in –
Siruserupadai saaru – Tripakshi swarasa – Coldenia procumbens – q.s.

Indication

Indication of Silasaththu Parpam:

  • Given in the condition of pitha noigal [bilious diseases]
  • Udalerichal [burning sensation all over the body]
  • Vellai [leucorrhoea]
  • Mooththira kaduppu [painful micturition]
  • Neerkattu [retention of urine]
  • Mooththira erivu [scalding of urine]
  • Neerthaarai thulai veekkadu [inflammation of urethra] etc.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Silasaththu Parpam:
500 mg with butter or ghee twice daily after food.
Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects and package

Side effects of Silasaththu Parpam:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under medical supervision.

  1. While eating any food and drinking tea coffee except water above neck portion including head start sweating same time below neck feel so cold chillness shivering… Please tell me reason and how to treat this problem
