Ingredients
Ingredients of Sangu Parpam:
Sangu – Shankha – Tribune pyrum – 16.66 % – It is useful in the treatment of gastritis, acidity, abdominal colic, malabsorption syndrome, dyspepsia, vomiting, nausea, acne, etc.
Processed in –
Aakaasa thaamarai – Jalakumbhi – Pistia stratiotes – 83.33 % – It is used therapeutically to treat blood diseases, bleeding disorders, thyroid, piles, difficulty in urination, skin diseases etc.
Elumichcham pasha saaru – Nimbooka swarasa – Lemon juice – Citrus aurantifolia – q.s. – It promotes digestion and relieves Ama, a product of indigestion and malabsorption.
Indication
Indication of Sangu Parpam:
- Soolai [colic]
- Vayittru kolarugal [various ailments of stomach]
- Gunmum [gastritis]
- Kudar pungal [peptic ulcer]
- Thole noigal [skin diseases].
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Sangu Parpam:
- 100 – 200 mg with ghee, butter or milk twice daily after food.
- If taken with ghee, supposed to confer upon golden hue to the skin; also it allays the kanpugaichchal [burning sensation of the eyes] & pithaathikkam [biliousness].
- If taken with sacred basil juice, biliousness, burning sensation of eyes, phlegm formation as a result of intense fever accompanied by delirium will be relieved.
