Pavazha Parpam is a classical Siddha medicine in bhasma form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of respiratory disorders.

Ingredients of Pavazha Parpam:
Pavazham – Pravala – Corallium rubrum – 100 % – It is used in treatment of eye disorders, pthisis, chronic respiratory diseases, cough, cold, bleeding disorders etc.
Processed in –
Thelkoddukku juice – Vrischikali swarasa – Heliotropium indicum – q.s.

Indication

Indication of Pavazha Parpam:

  • Diseases due to vitiation of 96 vagai kaba noigal [kaba dosham of 96 types]
  • Eelai [bronchospasm/bronchiectasis]
  • Kshaya kaasam
  • Mandhara kaasam [tuberculosis]
  • Sura noighal [fever]
  • Sori [itches]
  • Sirangu [scabies]
  • Karappan [erysipelas].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Pavazha Parpam:
200 – 400 mg twice a day with milk, ghee or honey after food.
Or as directed by the physician.

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under medical supervision.
