Seemai Agathi Paste is a classical Siddha medicine in ointment form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of fungal infection as a topical.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Seemai Agathi Paste:
Karun seeragam – Krishna jeeraka – Black caraway – Nigella sativa – 20 % – Its oil is widely used to improve skin tone, to treat acne, scar, dark spots and as moisturizer.
Kattu seeragam – Aranya jeeraka – Vernonia anthelmintica – 20 % – It has anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant and anti-fungal activities.
Neeradimuthu – Garudaphala – Hydnocarpus pentandra – 20 % – It is an ancient Ayurvedic herb used mainly in the treatment of skin diseases.
Kandhagam – Gandhaka – Elemental Sulphur – 20 %
Karboga arishi – Bakuchi – Psoralia corylifolia – 20 % – It is an Ayurveda herb, very well known for its efficacy against skin diseases including leucoderma.

Aadu theendapalai saaru – Kitamari – Aristolochia bracteata – q.s. – It has anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal activities.
Maruthani elai saaru – Madayanthi – Henna – Lawsonia inermis – q.s. – It is an Ayurvedic herb used for the treatment of fever, dysuria, jaundice, ulcers, bleeding disorders and skin diseases.
Thein mezhugu – Madhu – Honey – Apis mellifera – q.s.
Thenkai ennai – Narikela Taila – Coconut oil – Cocos nucifera – q.s. – Quickens and helps in filling up of skin depression in wounds.
