Idi Valladhi Mezhugu Capsules is a classical Siddha medicine in capsule form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of vatha disorders.

Ingredients of Idi Valladhi Mezhugu Capsules:
Each 500 mg capsule contains –
Suddhi seidha seraankottai – Shuddha Bhallataka – Semecarpus anacardium 27.40 % – It is used extensively in piles, inflammation, skin diseases, etc. 
Yellu/ellu – Tila – Sesame – Sesamum indicum – 13.70 % – Improves the quality of skin and hair. Improves overall strength.
Kopparai – Narikela – Cocus nucifera – 13.70 %
Parangichakkai – Madhusnuhi – Smilax china – 2.74 % – It is a plant mentioned for the treatment of cancer, syphilis, skin diseases, constipation, urine retention, disease of joint etc.
Amukkara kizhangu – Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – 2.74 %
Kodiveliver pattai – Chitraka – Plumbago indica – 2.74 % – Of all the herbs that are carminative, digestive, useful in hemorrhoids, anti inflammatory, and anti colic, leadwort is the best.

• All kinds of vadha noigal [vatha diseases including rheumatism]
• Viranam [ulcers]
• Envagai gunmam [8 types of gastritis]
• Thozhunoi [leprosy]
• Soolai [colic]
• Vellai [leucorrhoea]
• Soothaga soolai [dysmenorrhoea]
• Sori [itch]
• Padai [eczema]
• Seelai pun [bed sores]
• General diseases such as – megam [hot flush], karumegam etc.
• Granthi [chancre]
• Araiyappu [bubo]
• Veekkam [abscess] etc.
• Also in agnivayu.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Idi Valladhi Mezhugu Capsules:
1 – 2 capsules with palm jaggery twice daily for 40 days.
Or as directed by the physician.

Diet

Pathya:-
Avoid salt, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, pagal [bitter gourd], agathi [sasban], non-veg foods & tobacco.
