Manoranjitha Legiyam is a classical Siddha medicine in paste/jam form manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of various types of headaches.

Chukku – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 4.55 % – It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities.
Milagu – Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 4.55 %
Thippili – Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 4.55 %
Elam – Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 4.55 %
Lavangam/kirambu – Lavanga – Clove – Syzygium aromaticum – 4.55 %
Sitharathai – Sugandhimoola – Alpinia calcarata – 4.55 %
Kadukkai – Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 4.55 % – Useful in the treatment of diseases pertaining to head, head ache etc.
Sadakuppai – Satahva – Dill seed – Anethum sowa – 4.55 %

Indication

Indication of Manoranjitha Legiyam:
Thalaivali [kinds of cephalgia] such as-
naatpatta thalaivali [chronic head ache],
ushna thalaivali [headache due to gastropathy] etc.
Migraine [unilateral headache].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Manoranjitha Legiyam:
5 – 10 g with milk after food twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects of Manoranjitha Legiyam:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under medical supervision.
  • Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
