Maha Vallathi Legiyam is a classical Siddha medicine in paste/jam form manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of venereal disorders.

Ingredients of Maha Vallathi Legiyam:
Purified parankipattai – Madhusnuhi – Smilax china – 7.34 % – It has anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties.
Nellivattral – Amalaki – Gooseberry – Emblica officinalis – 7.34 % – The anti-oxidants and vitamin C in gooseberry, help to brighten the skin. This fruit also helps to tone and tighten the skin, and make it firm and soft.
Thandrikkai – Vibhitaki – Belleric myrobalan – Terminalia bellerica – 7.34 %
Chukku – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 5.45 %
Sittarattai – Sugandhimoola – Alpinia calcarata – 5.45 %
Sadamanjil – Jatamamsi – Nardostachys jatamansi – 5.45 % – It is a famous Ayurvedic herb used in neuro-psychiatric diseases and skin diseases.
Elavangapattai – Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum – 5.45 %
Kadugurohini – Katuki – Picrorrhiza kurroa – 1.49 % – It is a powerful Ayurvedic herb used in treating mainly chronic fever, skin disorders and diabetes.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Maha Vallathi Legiyam:
3 g with milk after food twice daily for 45 days.
Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under strict medical supervision.
  • Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
