Kukkil Vallathy Legiyam is a classical Siddha medicine in paste/jam form manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of skin disorders.

Kanthagam – Shuddha Gandhaka – Lemental Sulphur – 5.33 %
Kungiliyam – Shaala – Shorea robusta – 5.33 % – It is mainly used in treating non healing wounds, diabetes, boils, deafness etc.
Purified Serankottai – Shuddha Bhallataka – Semecarpus anacardium – 2.66 % – It is used extensively in skin diseases.
Seenthil – Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 2.66 % – It is a well known immuno-modulator herb used in the correction of auto-immunity. 
Sarkkarai – Sita – Saccharum officinarum – 2.66 %
Ellu – Tila – Sesame – Sesamum indicum – 2.66 % – Improves the quality of skin and hair. Improves overall strength.

  • Kuttam-18 [group of skin disorders]
  • Kuzhi ranangal [tropic ulcer]
  • Sori [itchy patches]
  • Sirangu [scabies]
  • Kandamalai [tumors]
  • Puttru [cancer]
  • Araiyappu [pubo]
  • All types of mega disorders.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Kukkil Vallathy Legiyam:
1 – 2 g with milk after food twice daily.
or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects, package

Side effects of Kukkil Vallathy Legiyam:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under strict medical supervision as it contains mercury in it.
  • Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
