Naaku Poochi [Kolli] Kudineer Chooranam Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Naaku Poochi [Kolli] Kudineer Chooranam is a classical Siddha medicine in powder form used for making respective Kashaya, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used to treat worm infestations.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Naaku Poochi [Kolli] Kudineer Chooranam:
Palasu vithai – Palasha – Butea monosperma – 13.33 % – Useful in intestinal worm infestation.
Karun seeragam – Krishna jeeraka – Black caraway – Nigella sativa – 13.33 % – Useful in bloating, gaseous distension of abdomen, anorexia, indigestion etc.
Vaivitankam – Vidanga – Embelia ribes – 13.33 % – It is widely used against intestinal worm infestation. 
Omam – Yavani – Carom seed – Trachyspermum ammi – 13.33 % – Useful in abdominal colic pain, worm infestation and bloating etc.
Sivatai ver – Trivrit – Operculina turpethum – 13.33 % – Useful in worm infestation, infected wounds etc.
Nilavarai elai – Swarnapatri – Indian senna – Cassia angustifolia – 13.33 % – It is mainly used as a blood purifier, laxative- for relieving constipation and to treat skin diseases.
Sombu – Mishreya – Fennel seed – Foeniculum vulgare – 13.33 % – Useful in anorexia, worm infestation, constipation etc.
Kadugu rohini – Katukarohini – Picrorhiza kurroa – 6.66 % – It is very useful in relieving intestinal worm infestation. In higher doses, it acts as purgative.

Indication

Indications of Naaku Poochi [Kolli] Kudineer Chooranam:

  • Nakkupucci, timirappucci, kokkippulu [worm infestations]
  • Malamillakki [laxative].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Naaku Poochi [Kolli] Kudineer Chooranam:

  • Take 5 g of the powder mix it with 300 ml water, boil & reduce to 30 ml and give it by addition with honey twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
