Mooligai Theneer Chooranam is a classical Siddha medicine in powder form used for making respective Kashaya, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used to treat pitha disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Mooligai Theneer Chooranam:
Chukku – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 30.77 % – It improves taste and digestion strength.
Seeragam – Jeeraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum – 15.38 % – It is very good in treating digestive track disorders.
Sombu – Mishreya – Fennel seed – Foeniculum vulgare – 15.38 %
Roja ethal – Satapatri – Rosa damascena – 15.38 % – It acts as digestive stimulant.
Elam – Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 4.62 % – Being an excellent anti oxidant, it is used in treating blood pressure, asthma, indigestion, dysuria etc.
Semparuthipoo – Japapushpa – Hibiscus rosa sinensis – 15.38 % – It is coolant, balances kapha and pitta dosha.
Nannari – Sariva – Indian sarsaparilla – Hemidesmus indicus – 3.08 % – It is widely used in the treatment of oligospermia, gastritis, anorexia, menorrhagia etc.

Indications of Mooligai Theneer Chooranam:

• Arosakam [tastelessness]
• Pitha noigal [pitta disorders]
• Navaratchi [dryness of the tongue]
• Athi thagam [poly dypsia]
• Can be used as tea powder to prepare tea which gives re-freshness.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Mooligai Theneer Chooranam:

• Take 5 g of the powder & boil it with 500 ml of water & reduce to 125 ml. add palm jaggery & give it twice daily before food, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
