Megarajanga Kiyazha Chooranam Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Megarajanga Kiyazha Chooranam is a classical Siddha medicine in powder form used for making respective Kashaya, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used to treat venereal disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Megarajanga Kiyazha Chooranam:
Nannariver – Sariva – Indian sarsaparilla – Hemidesmus indicus – 45.45 % – It is widely used in the treatment of oligospermia, gastritis, anorexia, menorrhagia etc.
Milagu – Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 18.18 %
Seeragam – Jeeraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum – 4.54 % – It cleanses and detoxifies uterus. Hence it is widely used in post partum care of the mother.
Sombu – Mishreya – Fennel seed – Foeniculum vulgare – 4.54 % – Useful in bleeding disorders of Pitta origin and useful in relieving pain arising from female reproductive system.
Kothumalli – Dhanyaka – Coriander – Coriandrum sativum – 4.54 %
Chukku – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 9.09 %
Nelpori – Shali – Oryza sativa – 4.54 %
Popnneerpoo [roja poo] – Satapatri – Rosa damascena – 9.09 % – It relieves internal burning sensation, seen in Pitta imbalance conditions.

Indications of Megarajanga Kiyazha Chooranam:

  • Vellai noi [leucorrhoea]
  • Vettai noi [gonorrhoea]
  • Mega kiranthi
  • Mega soodu
  • Utsoodu [body heat due to mega disorder]
  • Prevents mega disorders.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Megarajanga Kiyazha Chooranam:

  • Take 5 g of the powder mix it with 300 ml of water, boil & reduce to 30 ml and give it by addition with honey twice a day, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
