Orithazh Thaamarai Chooranam is a classical Siddha medicine in powder form manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used for male infertility and is also a galactogogue for women.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Orithazh Thaamarai Chooranam:
Orithazh thaamarai samoolam – Rathnapushpa – Hybanthus enneaspermus 14.28 %
Seeragam – Jeeraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum – 14.28 % – Acts as aphrodisiac. Cleanses and detoxifies uterus. Hence it is widely used in post partum care of the mother.
Senchandanam – Raktachandana – Red sandalwood – Pterocarpus santalinus – 14.28 % – It is used in Ayurveda for the treatment of eye disorders, sexual disorders, Pitta disorders such as nasal bleeding, menorrhagia etc. 
Jathikkai – Jatiphala – Nutmeg – Myristica fragrans – 14.28 % – Aphrodisiac, used for the treatment of low sperm count (Oligospermia). 
Jathipathiri – Jatipatra – Myristica fragrans – 14.28 %
Adhimadhuram – Yastimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 14.28 % – It increases sperm count and semen quality.
Sarkkarai – Sita – Saccharum officinarum – 14.28 %

Indication

Indication of Orithazh Thaamarai Chooranam:

  • Improves the vigour & vitality.
  • Enhances the glandular secretion.
  • Improves the quality of semen.
  • In women during parturition enhances the secretion of milk.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Orithazh Thaamarai Chooranam:
1 – 2 g with milk after food 2 – 3 times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
