Nanju Murivu Chooranam is a classical Siddha medicine in powder form manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in skin allergies.

Ingredients of Nanju Murivu Chooranam:
Surath nilavarai – Aragwadha – Cassia angustifolia – 5.88 % – It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities.
Karudan kizhangu – Sukanasa – Corallocarpus epigaeus – 29.42 %
Sivan vembu – Neeli – Indigofera aspalathoides – 29.42 % – Useful in case of insect bites and skin disorders with itching. It is also used in treating scorpion bite.
Vellarugu – Nagajihva – Enicostemma littorale – 5.88 %
Sirukurinchan ver – Meshashringi – Gymnema sylvestre – 5.88 %
Milagu – Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 5.88 %
Thippili – Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 5.88 %
Kirambu – Lavanga – Clove – Syzygium aromaticum – 5.88 %
Neeli ver – Neeli – Indigofera tinctoria – 5.88 %

Indication

Indications of Nanju Murivu Chooranam:

• Kanakadi [urticaria]
• Ovamai thol noikal [allergic dermatitis]
• Namaichal [itching]
• Vishakadi [poisonous bites]
• Blackening of skin
• Ulankai & ulankal vedippu [fissure of palms & soles].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Nanju Murivu Chooranam:

1 – 2 g with honey or hot water after food twice daily.
Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
