Amrithathi Sanjeevi Chooranam is a classical Siddha medicine manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode – Tamil Nadu. It is a powder formulation used to treat urinary tract disorders.

Ingredients of Amrithathi Sanjeevi Chooranam:
Vetiver – Ushira – Vetiveria zizanioides – 2.18 % – It is widely used in treating fever, dysuria, burning sensation, fatigue syndrome, skin disorders etc.
Vilamichan ver – Rohisha – Cymbopogon jwarancusa – 2.18 % – It is an Ayurvedic plant used for the treatment of joint pain, respiratory diseases, anorexia, intestinal worms, skin diseases and diarrhea. 
Thalisapathiri – Talispatra – Taxus buccata – 2.18 %
Nelliparuppu – Amalaki – Gooseberry – Phyllanthus emblica – 2.18 %
Elanthakottai paruppu – Badara – Ziziphus maurtiana – 2.18 % – Used in Ayurveda for treating bleeding disorders, excessive thirst, fever, burning sensation etc.

Indication

Indications of Amrithathi Sanjeevi Chooranam:

• Achamari (urolithiasis or renal stones)
• Siruneer pathai errichal
• Moothira kricharam (burning micturition)
• Siruneer pathai thapitham (inflammation of the urinary tract)
• Neeradaipu (strangury).

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Amrithathi Sanjeevi Chooranam:

1 – 2 g with sugar cane juice before food twice a day or Ashmabheda plant juice or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
