Poorana Chandirodhaya Chendooram is a classical Siddha medicine in bhasma form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is a rejuvenator, aphrodisiac & used in the treatment of vatha pittaja disorders.

Ingredients of Poorana Chandirodhaya Chendooram:
Thangam – Swarna – Elemental gold – 4 % – It is used in treatment of Malabsorption syndrome, Dyspepsia, Hiccup, Anaemia, Dyspnoea, Asthma, Fever, Tissue wasting, Tuberculosis, Impaired intelligence, Epilepsy, Rupture / weakness of ligaments, Heart disease, Disease due to Vata dosha etc.
Rasam – Parade – Elemental mercury – 32 %
Gandhagam – Gandhaka – Elemental Sulphur – 64 %
Processed in-
Semparuththi poo saaru – Karpasa pushpa swarasa – Gossypium arboretum – q.s.
Vaazhai kizhangu saaru – Kadali swarasa – Musa paradisiaca – q.s. – It is used in the treatment of cholera, hysteria, bleeding disorders, seminal debility, vaginal discharge, burning sensation, general debility.

  • Eelai [bronchospasm/ broncho pneumonia]
  • Malachikkal [constipation]
  • Elikadi [rat bite]
  • Piththam [biliousness]
  • Kabam [phlegmatic condition]
  • Grahani/ perung kazhichchal including nina kazhichchal, seezh nina kazhichchal [diarrhea of sprue syndrome/ malabsorption  syndrome]
  • Kaamaalai [jaundice]
  • Kaduppu [myalgia]
  • Gunmum [gastritis]
  • Suram/ kaichchal [fever]
  • Vettai [gonorrhoea]
  • Mega soolai/ soolai [colic]
  • Kudaichchal [excruciating pain]
  • Dhunmangkisham/ adhika udarparuman [any excessive unwanted over growth]
  • Considered to be a kayakalpa medicine [rejuvenating tonic]
  • A good kamam perukki [aphrodisiac].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Poorana Chandirodhaya Chendooram:

  • 25 – 50 mg twice a day with Karpooradhi Chooranam & honey or beetle leaf juice after food.
    Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Pathya:- Avoid salt, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, pagal [bitter gourd], agathi [sasban], non-veg foods & tobacco.
