Kaalamega Naarayana Chendooram Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Kaalamega Naarayana Chendooram is a classical Siddha medicine in bhasma form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. This is used in the treatment of kapha disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Kaalamega Naarayana Chendooram:
Vaalairasam – Parada – Mercury distilled out from cinnabar – 42 %
Lingam – Mercuric sulphide – 21 %
Aritharam/ thalagam – Haratala – Arsenic trisulphide – 14 % – It is useful in skin diseases with itching, cough, cold, bronchitis, asthma, syphilis, sinus, boils etc.
Gandhakam – Elemental Sulphur – 17 %
Manosilai – Manashila – Arsenic sulphide – 6 %
Processed in –
Vediuppu cheyaneer – Suryakshara – Potassium nitrate – q.s.

Indication

Indication & Adjuvants of Kaalamega Naarayana Chendooram:

  • When given with Thothuvalai Ghritham for 15 days, 20 types of Sileththuma [kapha/sleshma] diseases will be cured.
  • In case of Ennvagai Gunmum [8 types of gastritis], it is given along with Panchadeepakkini Legiyam.
  • When given with honey, 21 types of Meganoigal will be cured.
  • Similarly when given suitably with approximate adjuvants, all types of Vadha diseases will be cured.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Kaalamega Naarayana Chendooram:

  • 25 – 50 mg with honey, Thoothuvalai Ghritham, Panchadeepakkini Legiyam or suitable adjuvants after food twice daily.
    Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Diet

Pathya:- Avoid salt, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, pagal [bitter gourd], agathi [sasban], non-veg foods & tobacco.
