Chandamarudha Chendooram is a classical Siddha medicine in bhasma form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of vatha disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Chandamarudha Chendooram:
Lingam – Hingula – Mercuric sulphide – 45% – Useful in the treatment of disease of the spleen, splenomegaly, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic fever, intermittent fever, filariasis etc.
Pooram – Mercurous chloride – 22%
Veeram – Mercuric chloride – 11%
Rasa chendooram – Rasa sindoora – Mercuric sulphide – 11% – It is used to boost immune system, to improve strength, in cardiac diseases, colicky abdominal pain, urinary tract related diseases, fistula in ano, inflammatory conditions, tuberculosis, chronic respiratory conditions, asthma, anemia, obesity, non healing wounds, and digestive problems.
Shuddha gandhaka – Elemental Sulphur – 11%
Processed in –
Thaaipaal/ kozhi muttaiyin venkaru – Kukkuta mamsa rasa – Gallus domesticus – q.s.

Indication of Chandamarudha Chendooram:

  • Keelvaadham/ keelvayu
  • Paksha vadham/ pakka vadham
  • Nadukku granthi
  • Nariththalai vadham
  • Ottu rogam [infectious diseases]
  • Minor & major ailments due to vitiation of three humors.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Chandamarudha Chendooram:

25 mg twice daily with honey, Thoothuvalai Ghritham, Pancha Deepakkini Legiyam at least for 5 days.
Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Diet

Pathya:- Avoid salt, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, pagal [bitter gourd], agathi [sasban], non-veg foods & tobacco.
