Anna Pavala Chendooram Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Anna Pavala Chendooram is a classical Siddha medicine in bhasma form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in treating respiratory disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Anna Pavala Chendooram:
Purified annabethi – Shuddha Kasisa – Ferrous sulphate – 83.33 % – It is used in the treatment of eye diseases, pruritis, leucoderma, dysurea, Helminthiasis, fever, splenomegaly, primary and secondary amenorrhea. It improves strength and immunity.
Purified narpavalam [pavalakodi] – Pravala – Corallium rubrum – 16.67 % -It is used in treatment of eye disorders, pthisis, chronic respiratory diseases, cough, cold, bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding, bleeding hemorrhoids, menorrhagia etc.
Palacharu – Nimbooka swarasa – Citrus aurantifolia – q.s.

Indication

Indication of Anna Pavala Chendooram:

  • Sayam [tuberculosis]
  • Eraippu irumal [bronchial asthma]
  • Erumal [cough]
  • Rathakasam [cough with bloody mucous]
  • Rathachoodu [hypertension]
  • Pithachoodu [pitha disorder]
  • Mega soodu [pitha disorder affecting genital tract]
  • Enbuchoodu [pitha disorder affecting the bone].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Anna Pavala Chendooram:

100 – 200 mg with honey, ghee or butter after food twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
